Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic, New Jersey’s largest behavioral health system, will be accepting employment applications for full and part-time positions during an open interview day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11, at its Belle Mead headquarters. Carrier Clinic is located at 252 County Road 601.
Carrier is seeking residential counselors for its youth/teen residential treatment program as well as mental health technicians for its inpatient psychiatric unit.
Residential counselors provide supervision, behavior management and counseling for Carrier Clinic’s adolescent patients. Responsibilities include leading resident group meetings, coordinating recreational activities, and participating in other group functions.
Mental health technicians work under the supervision of unit directors or nursing supervisors, providing support services for the professional nursing staff and performing the routine functions of patient care as well as related duties as assigned or requested.
